PRESS RELEASE

Twain Harte, CA: Tuolumne County Alliance for Resources & Environment (TuCARE) respects the recommendations of our local and state health departments. With the recent statement issued by Governor Gavin Newsom regarding the updated policy on non-essential mass gatherings, in response to COVID-19, TuCARE is announcing that we will be issuing refunds to individuals who have purchased dinner tickets for the March 14th Annual Dinner, but who do not feel comfortable at a large gathering at this time. If tickets were purchased, and you do not want to attend and you want a refund, please contact us by email: tucare@mlode.com.

TuCARE will take appropriate steps to ensure recommended health department policies are enforced at the event. Prior to the dinner, if event goers are ill, feeling ill, have been exposed to someone who has been confirmed as an COVID-19 patient, or are feeling unsafe about attending, please do not attend. If ticket holders are members of a high-risk population, please consider this before attending TuCARE’s dinner or any large gathering.

Public Health officials recommend if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and may have had contact with a person with COVID-19, or recently traveled to countries with apparent community spread, call your health care provider or local public health department first before seeking medical care so that appropriate precautions can be taken. (From the Governor’s Office.)
